COVID-19: Risk managers postpone seminar, induction

Lagos, March 23, 2020 (NAN) The Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON) has postponed the 2020 Executive Risk Management Seminar and Induction of new members, Associates and Fellows, initially slated for March 24.

A statement by RIMSON’S Executive Secretary, Olufemi Odeniyi and issued in Lagos on Monday, said that no new date yet for the event.

Odeniyi said the decision was in compliance with the Lagos State’s directive banning gatherings of diverse forms with effect from Monday, March 23, as a measure aimed to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said the decision was reached by the Executive Committee of the Society.

According to him, the Society regretted all inconveniences as a new date for the seminar and induction would be communicated in the future. (NAN)
