Nasarawa Rep member-elect solicits prayers, support for leaders

Nasarawa (Nasarawa State), June 6, 2019(NAN) Alhaji Abdulmumini Ari, the All Progressives Congress( APC) House of Representatives member-elect for Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency, has called on Nigerians to pray and support President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders to succeed.

This, he stated, is to take the country to the next level of development promised by the administration.

Ari made the call on Thursday while speaking in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Nasarawa, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.

He noted that sustained prayers by the adherents of the two major religions in the state and Nigeria at large would definitely assist the president and other leaders to take the country to the next level.

According to him, every leader needs the support of his people to succeed, hence his call on Nigerians to pray and support all leaders at all levels to succeed.

The member-elect also declared support for Mr Femi Gbajabiamila and Mr Ahmed Idris-Wase as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the ninth assembly.

“Gbajabiamila is not just a member in the House, he is the leader of the 8th Assembly of the House of Representatives.

“Both Gbajabiamila and Idris-Wase are men who have contributed positively in the floor of the House and to the development of the country as their records and successes are straight forward,“ he said.

Ari called on the members-elect of the ninth assembly to support the duo to become speaker and deputy speaker, respectively, in order to take Nigeria to the next level of progress and development.

The member-elect also called on the people of his constituency and Nigerians to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace with one another irrespective of their differences.(NAN)
