NOTAP receives PEBEC 2018 Most Improved MDA award

Abuja, April 12, 2018 (NAN) The National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP)
has received the Most Improved Millennium Development Agency (MDA) Award for 2018.

The information is in a statement by Mr Raymond Ogbu, NOTAP’s Public Relations Officer in Abuja on Friday.

Ogbu stated that the award was conferred by Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC)
under the Home-Grown Reform Indicators category.

The public relations officer quoted NOTAP’s Director-General, Dr DanAzumi Ibrahim, as describing
the award as “the result of hard work.

“We are happy to see that the little efforts of NOTAP are highly noticed and appreciated.

“This award is the result of team work, dedication and selfless service by staff of the Office.

“Organisational goals could be best achieved with staff dedication and good leadership.”

The NOTAP boss then dedicated the award to staff of the office and urged them to
work harder, and thanked the organisers for the recognition.

PEBEC was established in July 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari to remove critical bottlenecks
to doing business in the country and to make Nigeria a progressively easier place to do business.

PEBEC’s role was modeled to align with global best practices and to include a strong performance tracking
element that is measured by the World Bank Doing Business Index.(NAN)
