The official said the conferences would hold in Rome (Vatican City), London (UK), Abuja, New York and Dubai, (UAE).
BRISIN is an integrated system for the collection, storage and distribution of information to support the management of the economy.
The Federal Government had approved the implementation of the project which would be carried out by Dermo Impex, an Italian based Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Company.
Uwa said BRISIN was now elevating Nigeria’s image abroad and giving the investors the confidence that Nigeria would change for better with data governance platform.
He said that Nigerian culture and patriotism, united by the friendship with Italy, as the engine for the implementation of the BRISIN programme, had attracted European Union, Vatican City, America, Asia and other parts of the world.
Uwa added that the project had attracted those countries to accept to help Nigeria and Africa to build a solid data and information base that would change the face of the continent to compete with other countries and continents.
The official said that BRISIN would take Nigeria to unimaginable world recognition as the conferences would promote Nigerian development in four continents of the world.
He said that the conferences would promote the country in those continents to change the stereotype connected with corruption, prostitution, drug abuse and Boko Haram insurgency.
“It is obvious that BRISIN is the change that will give Nigeria a new face.
“We are building and transmitting the true face of Nigeria to project that rich cultural knowledge with balanced expanding future, refusing phobia and pre-conception.
“We are looking at Nigeria with eyes that know how to read what it was in the past, now and search for what we want it to be in the future,’’ Uwa said.
NAN reports that no fewer than 9,822 servers will be installed in all the wards, local governments and states in the country as part of implementing the project.
The service provider will install one server in each of the 8,812 wards in Nigeria and move up to the 774 local government headquarters. (NAN)
