Oduah wants Nigerians united in coronavirus fight

Lagos, March 26, 2020 (NAN) A former National Treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs Joyce Oduah, on Thursday called on Nigerians  to be united in the fight against coronavirus to eradicate it fast.

Oduah said on Thursday in Lagos that all Nigerians should observe best practices in the fight against the pandemic to check the spread.

She advised lawyers to abide by all prescribed safety measures including working   from home, saying that her law firm had Implemented the work-from-home policy.

“Social distancing and personal hygiene are the two  most effective weapons available for us to combat COVID-19.

“Regularly and thoroughly wash hands with soap, or use  hand sanitiser.

“Avoid touching your mouth, eyes and nose with unwashed hands,” she advised.

Oduah added that the citizens should maintain at least a two-metre distance from anyone coughing or sneezing.

“Most importantly, stay at home.

“In line with the directive of the federal and Lagos State governments, we, at Joyce Oduah & Co, have implemented the work-from-home policy, and I believe that every law firm in Nigeria should do same.”  (NAN)
