Lagos, Dec. 23, 2019 (NAN) The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 30 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Dec. 20 to Jan. 8.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Monday.

According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Ports Complex.

It said that the ships contained petrol, base oil, containers, general cargo, steel pipes, bulk sugar, frozen fish, bulk salt and buck wheat.

NPA said that 20 ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with containers and fuel.

Also, the organisation said that 16 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, petrol, aviation fuel and ammonium. (NAN)

Lagos, Oct. 10, 2019 (NAN) A total of 25 ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says in its daily publication on Thursday in Lagos.

It said nine of the vessels contained petrol, two contained diesel  while the remaining 14 ships would berth with base oil, buckwheat,  container and general cargo.

The NPA also stated that 21 ships carrying container, general cargo, buckwheat and frozen fish, bulk salt, general cargo, bulk sugar, diesel, bulk buxitie, bulk gypsum, were expected at the ports between Oct. 10 and Oct. 27.

NPA said that 14 ships are presently discharging buckwheat, bulk sugar, frozen fish, petrol, general cargo, container and empty container. (NAN)

Lagos, May 10, 2019 (NAN) Eight ships conveying petrol and other commodities have berthed at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said Friday.

The agency said in its daily publication, Shipping Position, that the vessels were already discharging their consignments at the ports.

According to it, one of the vessels is discharging base oil.

It said that seven ships were discharging buckwheat, container, general cargo and frozen fish. (NAN)

Lagos, May 2, 2019 (NAN) Six ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said in its daily publication on Thursday.

It said three of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining three ships would berth with containers of various goods and frozen fish.

The NPA also stated that 29 ships carrying containers, bulk malt, general cargo, buckwheat, butane and frozen fish were expected at the ports between May 2 and May 17. (NAN)

Lagos, Sept. 25, 2018 (NAN) The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 31 ships to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from Sept. 25 to Oct. 4 at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.
This is contained in NPA’s daily publication tagged “Shipping Position’’ in Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that nine of the 31 ships will sail in with petrol.
The other 22 ships are carrying buckwheat, general cargo, bull sugar, bulk gypsum, frozen fish and containers carrying different goods.
According to the NPA, 10 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, container and petrol.
NAN also reports that six ships are expected to berth at River ports with petrol, bulk salt, container and frozen fish.
According to NPA, a total of 11 ships also expected to berth at Delta port (Warri) with crude oil, frozen fish, petrol, ceramic tiles, butane, diesel and bitumen.
The document indicated that eight ships were waiting to berth at Delta port with petrol, wheat, inballast and diesel. (NAN)

Lagos, May 15, 2018 (NAN) No fewer than eight ships laden with various products, including petrol, are at the Lagos ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday.
The NPA disclosed this in its daily “Shipping Position” made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that six of the vessels were waiting to berth with petrol.
It said that six of the vessels were waiting to berth with petrol while another two ships would berth with bulk fertiliser and bulk sugar.
It added that 28 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between May 15 and May 26.
The expected ships are carrying buck wheat, container, frozen fish, bulk sugar, base oil, pet coke, buckwheat, bulk fertiliser, empty containers, diesel and petrol,’’ it said. (NAN)

Lagos, Feb. 9, 2018 (NAN) Seventeen ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Friday.

The NPA explained that the ships were discharging buck wheat, petrol, empty containers, general cargo, containers, bulk fertiliser, Low Pure Fuel Oil (LPFO), fresh fish, bulk sugar, diesel and aviation fuel.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 41 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Lagos ports between Feb. 9 and Feb. 24.
NAN also reports that five ships were waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, diesel and base oil. (NAN)

Lagos, June 20, 2017 (NAN) Seven ships laden with various products, including petrol, are at the Lagos ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday.

The NPA disclosed in its daily “Shipping Position” made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

It said that four of the vessels had petrol consignment.

It said three other ships would berth with bulk coke, base oil and bulk fertiliser.

It added that 31 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between Tuesday and July 1.

“The expected ships are carrying buck wheat, containers,  general cargoes, bulk gas, base oil, bulk fertiliser, empty container, crude palmolein, steel products, bulk gypsum and petrol,’’ it said.

It also said that 15 other ships were currently at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, bulk salt, frozen fish, diesel, base oil, bulk corn, bulk gas, petrol and container. (NAN)

Lagos, June 15, 2017 (NAN) No fewer than 27 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from June 15 to June 27.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said this in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

NPA said that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk corn, bulk corn, bulk sugar, base oil, bilk coke, bulk gas, bulk gypsum, petrol and containers laden with goods.

NAN also reports that five ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buck wheat and petrol.

Thirteen other ships are at the ports discharging buck wheat, bulk salt, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, general cargo, bulk fertiliser and containers. (NAN)
