Lagos, May 10, 2019 (NAN) Eight ships conveying petrol and other commodities have berthed at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said Friday.

The agency said in its daily publication, Shipping Position, that the vessels were already discharging their consignments at the ports.

According to it, one of the vessels is discharging base oil.

It said that seven ships were discharging buckwheat, container, general cargo and frozen fish. (NAN)

Lagos, May 2, 2019 (NAN) Six ships carrying various products are at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said in its daily publication on Thursday.

It said three of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining three ships would berth with containers of various goods and frozen fish.

The NPA also stated that 29 ships carrying containers, bulk malt, general cargo, buckwheat, butane and frozen fish were expected at the ports between May 2 and May 17. (NAN)

Lagos, Sept. 25, 2018 (NAN) The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 31 ships to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from Sept. 25 to Oct. 4 at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.
This is contained in NPA’s daily publication tagged “Shipping Position’’ in Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that nine of the 31 ships will sail in with petrol.
The other 22 ships are carrying buckwheat, general cargo, bull sugar, bulk gypsum, frozen fish and containers carrying different goods.
According to the NPA, 10 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, container and petrol.
NAN also reports that six ships are expected to berth at River ports with petrol, bulk salt, container and frozen fish.
According to NPA, a total of 11 ships also expected to berth at Delta port (Warri) with crude oil, frozen fish, petrol, ceramic tiles, butane, diesel and bitumen.
The document indicated that eight ships were waiting to berth at Delta port with petrol, wheat, inballast and diesel. (NAN)

Lagos, June 20, 2017 (NAN) Seven ships laden with various products, including petrol, are at the Lagos ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday.

The NPA disclosed in its daily “Shipping Position” made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

It said that four of the vessels had petrol consignment.

It said three other ships would berth with bulk coke, base oil and bulk fertiliser.

It added that 31 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between Tuesday and July 1.

“The expected ships are carrying buck wheat, containers,  general cargoes, bulk gas, base oil, bulk fertiliser, empty container, crude palmolein, steel products, bulk gypsum and petrol,’’ it said.

It also said that 15 other ships were currently at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, bulk salt, frozen fish, diesel, base oil, bulk corn, bulk gas, petrol and container. (NAN)
