Gombe, April 1, 2020 (NAN) Prof. Idris Muhammad, Chairman Gombe State Task Force committee on Coronavirus says four out of seven suspected cases in the state is negative.
Mohammed made the disclosure during a news briefing in Gombe on Wednesday.
He said currently they are waiting the three results and so far Gombe remain negative as far as coronavirus is concern.
According to him, they have received 45 phone calls across the state on suspected cases and only two were found to be relevant.
He added that the one suspected was diagnosed with malaria and was treated, while the other one who’s claimed that he has contacted covid-19 patient in Abuja it was discovered it was false.
The Chairman said that Gombe isolation center is ready for taking care of confirmed cases of coronavirus.
He commended the effort of journalist for creating awareness despite the fact it’s not essay and urged them to maintain (NAN)
