Lagos, May 10, 2017 (NAN) Fifteen ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Wednesday.

NPA said that the ships were also discharging general cargoes, buck wheat, frozen fish, diesel, container, base oil and bulk gas.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 31 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between May 10 and May 29.

NPA said that the expected ships would bring buck wheat, containers, base oil, bulk sugar, general cargoes, bulk fertiliser, empty container, ethanol bulk gas, aviation fuel and frozen fish.

It said that nine ships laden with aviation fuel, petrol and bulk fertiliser, were waiting to berth. (NAN)
