60th Coronation Anniversary: Actor Femi Branch celebrates Awujale of Ijebu land

Lagos, April 2, 2020 (NAN) A renowned Nollywood thespian, Femi Branch, has hailed Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebu land, as he marks his 60th coronation anniversary today.
Branch took to his instagram handle (chief_femibranch) to wish the first class monarch more prosperous and healthy years on the throne.
“Happy 60th coronation anniversary to my father, the longest reigning monarch in Africa, Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the revered Awujale of Ijebu land.
” Orisa Ijebu, may God bless your reign with more prosperous and healthy years. Baba Orisa Ijebu a gbewa nija oo,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Oba Adetona was crowned at the age 25 on April 2, 1960, making it exactly 60 years on Thursday.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the ceremony for the coronation anniversary was postponed until further notice. (NAN)
