Ilorin, April 22, 2020 (NAN) Alhaji AGF AbdulRazaq (SAN), father of Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
AGF AbdulRazaq, who is also Mutawalli of Ilorin and Tafida of ZauZau (Zaria), said this in a letter of congratulation to the Emir, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Wednesday.
“I write to heartily congratulate and rejoice with your Royal Highness on the special occasion of your 80th birthday.
“I am particularly glad that your reign as our Royal father has been a unique blessing to the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and indeed Kwara State in general.
“The peace, tranquility and harmony in the Emirate under Your Royal Highness’ reign is universally acknowledged as a unique example of excellence in Royal administration in Nigeria.
“We are in no doubt that your tutelage as the Ciroma Ilorin under our father, the late Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Zukkarnaini Gambari, as well as your sterling experience as an erudite judge of the Court of Appeal, Nigeria, has impacted on your deft and inspired administration of the Emirate and Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers.
“I therefore wish to join thousands of your well-wishers to celebrate with you on the occasion of your 80th birthday.
“I am particularly proud of your footprints, not only as our Royal father; but also as a distinguished member of the Bar and the Bench and indeed a Statesman.
“May Allah grant you longevity blessed with greater strength of health and fulfilment.
“Your Royal Highness, please accept my congratulations and best wishes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY,” the governor’s father said. (NAN)
