Aide eulogises Ondo senator at 60

Okitipupa (Ondo State), March 4, 2020 (NAN) Mr Olumide Akinrinlola, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo, has felicitated the senator on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday in Okitipupa, Akinrinlola described the senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly as a quintessential politician, who was passionate about the growth and development of his people.
According to him, Ondo Southern senatorial district has witnessed tremendous change since Tofowomo became the senator representing the constituency at the Ninth Assembly.
He added that many youths had benefitted from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain’s array of benevolence, especially through appointments, both as ad hoc staff and personal aides.
Akinrinsola also said that several youths in the area had also got employment in Federal Government agencies and departments through the senator’s slots, which he distributed across all the wards in his senatorial district.
He added that Tofofowomo had made series of efforts, resulting in the restoration of light to some parts of the senatorial district which had been in blackout for over a decade, while still working on other areas.
The media aide recalled that his boss had escaped death by whiskers on three occasions through accidents, as he was trying to perform his constitutional duties to his constituents.
According to Akinrinsola, God has kept the senator alive for more people to benefit immensely from his representation.
“The Ondo South senatorial district has witnessed tremendous change since Tofowomo assumed office, as many youths were employed as ad-hoc staff, while others got government employment through him.
“Some parts of the districts, which had been in total blackout for more than a decade, are now enjoying electricity, with efforts being geared towards reconnecting other affected areas to national grid.
“He escaped death on three occasions in accidents while trying to perform his constitutional duties to his constituents, but God rescued him for more people to benefit from his large heart,” he said.
Akinrinlola, who said he was greatly indebted to the senator, because he was a beneficiary of his large heartedness, thanked him for giving him the opportunity to serve as his media aide.
While wishing the senator long life and good health, he urged him to concentrate more on impacting on the lives of his constituents, saying human investment was the greatest asset.
The media aide expressed appreciation to PDP leaders in the state for their unflinching support to Tofowomo, calling for more prayers for the senator to be successful in his bid to take the district to an enviable height. (NAN)
