The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the projects are for the financing and development of Kogo Bus and Modern Motor Park as well as the financing and development of Mpape Market ‘A’.
He urged the developers to ensure they met the necessary requirements and to also stick to the ground rules for the bidding process as only qualified bidders would be awarded contracts.
Dikko said when completed, the projects would not only contribute to the community growth, but improve on the existing market standards within the area in line with the FCT Master Plan.
Also speaking, Mr Ajoze Shuaibu, the Chief Admin Officer of the council, said that the process was geared towards ensuring transparency in the award of contracts.
He said that the projects to be handled by contractors were in May advertised in two Nigerian newspapers.
According to him, the bidding process is in line with Section 30 of the Procurement Act which aims at promoting transparency and accountability in the bidding process.
