Akwanga, March 6, 2018 (NAN) Worried by the rising cases of examination malpractices, College of Education, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, says it will install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in examination halls to check the trend.

Its Provost, Dr. Rebecca Umaru, announced this on Tuesday at the matriculation of 3,360 students admitted into the 2017/2018 academic session.

She said that the measure became necessary to check the alarming rate of the menace, and advised students to steer clear of it as anyone caught would be expelled.

Umaru advised the students to attend lectures regularly, saying that only those with a minimum of 75 per cent attendance would be allowed to write examinations.

She warned students against vices like cultism, drugs abuse, offering sex/money for marks, indecent dressing, among others.

“Anyone caught indulging in any of these vices will be expelled,” she warned. (NAN)
