Yola, May 4, 2017 (NAN) The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) on Thursday appealed to petrol marketers in Adamawa to desist from sabotaging the petrol distribution chain by hoarding the product.
Mr Mohammed Alaku, DPR Zonal Controller in charge of Taraba/Adamawa, who made the call, expressed regrets that the practice had inhibited availability of the product in the state.
Alaku told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Yola that the department was doing all it could to check artificial scarcity of the product in the state.
He appealed to the marketers not to sabotage the present administration’s effort to ensure product availability and distribution.
