Abuja, July 19, 2018 (NAN) Kwaghdoo Nyagba, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Food Expo has disclosed that the 2018 summer rave sales increased by 20 per cent.

Nyagba revealed this on Thursday in Abuja during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

NAN reports that Summer Rave was the theme for the food exhibition event which took place on Sunday in Abuja.

The CEO revealed that summer rave vendor sales growth was 20 per cent compared to the previous food expo themed ‘Throw back Edition’ conducted in March.

“This month sale was definitely more than March sales.

“I can say March sale was 60 per cent while this month was 80 per cent,” she said.

The entrepreneur declined to disclose the exact figures in monetary terms.

“Let’s just stick to percentages,” she said.

Nyagba said that she got her income from the 110 vendor stands she rented out.

The 26 year old event planner said that her inspiration to establish the Food Expo in 2014 was as a result of her experiences from working with different event planners in Abuja.

“My inspiration came from my experience in events and adventure,” she said.

She further disclosed that the Food Expo team had plans to take the fun and food exhibition to other states in Nigeria.

She urged young and upcoming entrepreneurs like herself to ensure consistency in their field of specialisation.

“Start something and use the drive to be successful,” she said. (NAN)
