Kyari: NANTA condoles President Buhari, deceased family

Lagos, April 18, 2020 (NAN) The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his close ally and Chief of Staff, late Mallam Abba Kyari.
Mrs Susan Akporaiye, President of NANTA, expressed the association’s condolences in a statement she released to the media on Saturday.
Akporiaye said the entire body of the travel trade operators were taken aback by the sudden demise of Mr Kyari, urging the president, the family and Nigerians generally to stay strong.
She said the association was pained over the sad development, adding that the father figure of Mr President and his right hand man would be missed by all who appreciated his dedication and loyalty to President Buhari and Nigerians in general.
“We at NANTA are shocked having prayed and trusted that he would pull through after testing positive to Coronavirus.
“Malam Kyari was a brave man, and his position will be hard to replace.
“Though we give God the glory for the life of the late chief of staff; as humans, his demise was very unexpected and regrettable but we rejoice that he served the President and the people of Nigeria well.
“We pray God accepts his soul and keep his immediate family in peace with fortitude to bear the loss,” she said
The NANTA president called on Nigerians to obey lockdown directives and keep to COVID-19 preventive measures to help stem the rising tide of the dreadful pandemic. (NAN)
