Nigerian traders in Ghana eulogise Kyari

Abuja, April 19, 2020 (NAN) The Nigerian Union of Traders Association Ghana (NUTAG) on Sunday expressed sadness over the passing of Malam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The President of NUTAG, Mr Chukwuemeka Nnaji, in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), described Kyari as a patriotic Nigerian.
He said it is on record that Kyari played a pivotal role in the affairs of the government of the country until his demise.
“NUTAG commiserates with the Federal Government of Nigeria on the demise of a workaholic and trusted Chief of Staff to President Buhari’s government.
“We join Nigerians across the world to mourn the loss of Kyari; we will ever celebrate his loyalty and selfless service to the country.
“We pray the almighty God have mercy on him and grant him eternal rest,” he said.
NAN reports that Kyari was first appointed as Chief of Staff to the President in August 2015, and was reappointed in 2019 by Buhari.
Kyari, who left behind a wife and four children, was buried on Saturday, April 18, at the Gudu cemetery in Abuja. (NAN)
