Lagos, April 23, 2020(NAN) The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) (NIM) says the diligence and loyalty of the late Abba Kyari was beneficial to development of critical sectors in the country.

Mrs Patience Anabor, President/Chairman of Council, NIM, said this in a condolence message to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday in Lagos.

Abba Kyari, who was Buhari’s Chief of Staff, had tested positive to coronavirus and died on April 17, while undergoing treatment in Lagos.

He was buried in Abuja on April 18, according to Islamic rites.

Anabor said that the late Chief of Staff, in the discharge of his duties, brought to bear characteristics such as patriotic zeal, accountability, efficiency, transparency and high level of integrity.

She prayed for courage and comfort for both the Presidency and the family members of the deceased in coping with the loss.

“On behalf of NIM members, Management, Staff and Council I wish to convey our heartfelt condolences on the recent passing of your late Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, OON.

“In his lifetime, Kyari, was a diligent and loyal staff in the Presidency, who contributed visibly and immensely to the implementation of the next level agenda of your administration.

“May God Almighty console the family he left behind, the President and Commander-In-Chief, his colleagues and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” she said. (NAN)
