Oye LG boss warns staff against complacency

Oye-Ekiti (Ekiti State) July 4, 2019 (NAN) Mr Ayodeji Aluko, Coordinating Director, Oye Local Government Area has warned staff against complacency to their duties.

Aluko gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Oye-Ekiti on Thursday.

He noted that some of the workers were fond of lateness and abandoning their duties.

He said that he had taken a deliberate step by creating an enabling environment for the staff with the installation of Television and DStv cables for the offices.

Aluko explained that his intention was to motivate‎ the staff to be punctual and discharge their duties effectively.

He said the state Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, had been paying salaries regularly without delay and he expected the staff to be hardworking and improve the development of the communities under their jurisdiction.

The coordinating director said that he had assigned officers who would be monitoring the level of performance and punctuality of the staff.

Aluko further warned that any staff found neglecting his or her duties would be sanctioned. (NAN)
