SGF lauds smooth process of Governorship election in Adamawa

Yola, March 9, 2019 ( NAN) The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustafa, has lauded the smooth conduct of the Governorship and State Assembly elections in Adamawa.

Mustafa made the remarks shortly after casting his vote at Government Girls Secondary School polling unit in Yola North Local Government Area of the state.

He said that the election process was well coordinated and going on smoothly.

” It took me just 2-3 minutes to be accredited and to cast my vote. The process is going on very well and the exercise is highly impressive,” Mustafa said.

On the low turnout of the electorate, he expressed the hope that more people would come out in the next couple of hours to vote.

He called on the people of the state to come out and perform their civic responsibility conferred on them by the constitution of Nigeria.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that there was low turnout in many polling units visited in Yola South and Yola North Local Government Areas of the state. (NAN)
