NAN-H-74
Dissolution
Akure, Jan. 16, 2017 (NAN) A housewife, Dupe Goodluck, on Monday urged an Akure Customary Court to dissolve her 15-year-old marriage to her husband, Agaba, for alleged constant late outings.
Dupe told the court that Agaba was fond of coming late without her knowledge, adding that there was constant fisticuffs between her and the respondent.
According to her, there has been no proper care for her and the three children.
She explained that his unwholesome character forced her to file the petition, and appealed to the court to plead with Agaba to turn a new leaf before proper reconciliation.
Agaba denied part of the allegation, and said that he was not ready to leave his wife.
He promised to make positive changes.
The President of the court, Mr Ayodele Omotola, in his ruling, directed the respondent to write a letter of undertaking of good conduct to court on the next adjourned date.
Omotola adjourned the case till Feb. 8 for report of settlement. (NAN)
